I don't really accept request but the one I got from AdamMasterArt is quite interesting so I decided to take the challenge.

Our mentor/teacher for this program is Luis Menacho.
Not sure where he is from but based on his accent I'm pretty sure he's from America.

It's been awhile since I do serious art so I'm thinking of painting Twilight Sparkle of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

However as I'm gone through refining the lineart and coloring, I'm having a hard time; I think it's about time to replace my completely obsolete Bamboo Fun - the pen pressure features are not eve functioning and there's not even an updated version of the software from Wacom's official website

I decided to just keep this rough sketch. I will draw a complete new Twiley once I got new Wacom

Back to those days where I was working on Xilam's Hubert and Takako (Hubert et Takako) series.

Interesting background art, tho I can't say much for the most of the characters. It was fun doing HT (as our department called it), but sometimes we had to do two episodes in a week.

Rather challenging, but Hubert decided to accept the challenge regardless.

The supervisors from Xilam (directly from France) really laughed when they saw this sticking at my monitor XD

         

During 30 minutes journey from KLCC back to Kelana Jaya LRT Station. A quick sketch using Sketchbook for Galaxy Note.

As I sat in a rather empty train, I realised it had been awhile since I sketch anything, and recently my mum surprised me with a year end gift of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - it's not Christmas present, I don't celebrate Christmas.

Since I was so busy with my latest project, I never get a round to try out all the apps in my Galaxy Note so I use this chance to try out Sketchbook for Galaxy Note. It's a pretty decent app :D

Previously I did a serious attempt on speed painting and I was really satisfied with elf thief lady work, though I still need to do many cleaning up with the rough lighting and shadows

Remembering an advice regarding the 'Overlay' layer in digital painting, I decided to give it a try - finally

Been watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as The Hobbit with my brother in the past two weeks. I really loves the elves so I decided to drew one

All these years I had always wanted to do speedpainting and I had always envy those who can. I really love the concept arts for games or films where most of the arts are speedpaintings.

Recently one of the top speedpainting artists in my office moved his workspace into my department and he was placed next to the hallway. Everyday I use the opportunity to observe his techniques and understand how he did it.

Eventually after two weeks I think I begin to understand the basics and the principals of speedpainting so I decided to give a try.

And this what I come out in 8 minutes. A lot of cleaning up need tio be done especially on the shadow parts.

Going around trying another artstyle. This time more to children' book artstyle ^^

Intoducing Sally

Serious workload at your office may cause this kind of thing to happened haha. Quite an awful week, but hey, I managed to pass it! :D

I took part in my office pitching for animation for the second time. The first time went pretty bad for me; I was inexperience and I begin to realised it wasn't easy to actually write for animation ^^;

While waiting new tasks to come in the office, I know I need to sketch/draw/paint something in order to improve my photoshop skills.

Recently I've been observing my officemate Lammy doing her digital painting. To her is just typical painting skills but for someone like me, her skills are awesome.

So for today I decided to try a bit. I like how the skin turned out (it looks better in photoshop (lol). I need to finalized the hair afterwards.

I have the feelings that painting the eyes, especially that angle is going to be a pain for me >_<

I decided to do some "vintage style" postcards for my friends birthday this year.

Most of the arts was originally pencil sketches before I decided to scan and give them "vintage touch" with photoshops.

I did few already by now but so far this one is my favorite and I use this one for my mother's birthday this year :)
