Been holding back this idea for awhile. I wanted to change some of the characters from the books I wrote several years ago into anime.

Consider this as part of photoshop skill training. Here I try to emulate it into as anime as possible.

It seemed quite successful, few of my friends and many strangers trying to figure out from which anime this scene is from haha

friend's suggestion to give the art grainy texture to make it more legit anime screenshot. I achieve this by saving my psd file to the lowest resolution jpg, then view the jpg in vlc and the snap it with it

About the Art
How to describe this art eh? I don't have any sketch of this art, I just simply draw them in Photoshop, directlt in Photoshop. Could this consider as Digital Painting?? 
This is my 1st attempt for this type of artwork so it is very messy n not nice at all 

About Lucius
Lucious is Lucy (the oroginal Elfen Lied main character)'s older twin brother and the only male diclonious.
When they were 3, Lucius eyewitness Lucy murdered their parents, shocking him thus make him lost his memories.
He was raised by a family whom. luckily really cared and loved him.
Now 18, he is in his collage holiday and he decided to travel for fun. He ended up in Kouta's place and eventually stay with them as Kouta offered a cheap rent 
When he 1st time say Nyu(Lucy) he feels like he know her but somehow continues to ignored his feeling.
He then take a liking to Nana that they bond a brother-sister relationship come to the point he is very protective towards her.
When he regained his memories he swore revenge on Lucy

Below are the information of ORIGINAL Elfen Lied regarding the existence of MALE DICLONIUS. There're slightly differences between the original manga and anime adaptations. Don't read if u don't want to get spoiled!

Original Manga
By the end of Volume 10, Chief kakuzawa introduced Lucy the only male diclonius in the world.
In the opening of volume 11, he stated that the male diclonius is Lucy's younger brother (Lucy is 18 n her brother probably aged 8). Chief Kakuzawa then tells Lucy that her mother had been looking for her and she had killed herself after giving birth to her diclonius brother. Lucy then killed both Chief kakuzawa n her brother by beheaded them. She then tells over her dead brother's body that she is sorry since he had done nothing wrong but she don't want he suffer and ended up like her.

Anime Adaption
In the anime, there is no male diclonius and their existence is never mention. Chief Kakuzawa and his son are only mentioned as "Part-Diclonius", thus despite they do have horns, they don't have the "Vector" powers.
Also in the anime, Lucy is believed to be abandoned by her parents even towards the end her parents status never been mentioned.
Chief kakuzawa did not die nor make any direct contact with Lucy.

While I continue practice my graphic designing techniques, I decided to use my previous un-used lady (digital) painting.

Using my two favourites theme: Alice in Wonderland and Tarot cards Major Arcana for this design.

I first designed Nicholas's character it was in 2001, but for the finalized art designed I did in 2005. Now after 10 years I finally redesigned him again, this time fully digitalized - trying to capture him in anime style

2005 vs 2015, Traditional Art vs Digital Art, which one you prefer? To be honest I still like his design in 2005 more ^^;

However I still feel something is missing in the art. It's not as alive as it should be, in other word, I need more practice. I really need to figure out what is missing in this art. Her outfit design is actually more elaborate but here I make it simple just like how Disney always do

Around 2005 I wrote 12 volumes of a manga involving psychic people. One of the characters is a 13-years-old girl from Netherlands

After undergo several major changes thought the years, her character eventually finalized and this her final design; along with her daily basis outfits

Her name was based from Edwin Van Der Sar

I'am a super, die-hard- fan of Claymore series and I can't help but to start to write and draw fan fiction. Since Claymore series lack of male characters so mine will be focusing on a hero.

However I would soon change the fan fiction and redesign as my own story. All Claymore series original elements were removes except the 'Awakening' concept - which is, not so original to begin with (see The Witcher)

Have MAJOR changes in Yuri Tysendal character design and background story

Yuri was an human Earthling Elite Scout Officer from the Galactic Star Force. However during one of his routine scouting on Planet Vorsch with the natives (a centaur-type humanoids whom called themselves Calith), they were ambush and Yuri was fatally wounded.
The dying Yuri was taken by the Star Force and subjected him Project Sagittarius where his missing lower torso attached to a killed Calith, hoping it will give a necessary accessibility on Planet Vorsh (including breathing the planet air and the certain terrain where it's impossible for any vehicles to pass). His missing limbs were replaced by mechanical ones.

For the upcoming character design competition. Finally the sketch is done, it's coloring time!!!

Captain Yuri Tysendal was an established captain in the Galactic Star Fleet, until an ambushed by the enemy fleet left him horrible condition. In order to save his life, the Star Fleet subjected him into Project Uranus; where he was injected with an extraterrestrial virus which supposed to regenerate his dead cells. He was also given a mechanical right arm. However things start to go wrong; the virus mutated and begin to infect his mechanical arm, and later half of his body. The excruciating pain he suffered from the infection and the trauma from the attack eventually drove him into insanity. He ended up slaughtered all the Project Uranus staffs before fleeing. Now completely a homicidal maniac, he would kill anyone unlucky enough to come across him, so pray you're not the one

2013 Painting Challenge: March

For 2013 I decided to challenge myself to master digital/speed painting. Each month I will do one major painting, and by the end of the year I will compare all the twelve major paintings to see my painting improvement.

I did a doodle of an elf boy roughly 2 years ago, and only recently I decided to try to color it ^_^

Lately I've been trying many art styles and some of them didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I'm quite satisfied with this one :D

I ended up making a portrait of him :P
